Artificial intelligence and related technologies are increasingly part of nonprofit work, showing up in fundraising, marketing, data management, grant writing, and everyday tools that staff already use. For many nonprofits, the challenge isn’t always adopting new technology, but understanding how to use it responsibly, effectively, and in ways that support mission-driven work.
Future Forward: AI and Nonprofits is a one-day, in-person conference hosted by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits that brings together nonprofit professionals to explore how these tools are being used across the sector. The conference will feature a keynote session and multiple breakout sessions focused on practical applications, emerging issues, and real-world considerations for nonprofits of all sizes. Throughout the day, speakers will also connect these topics to leadership, helping attendees think through policies, staff guidance, culture, and accountability as AI becomes more commonplace in nonprofit work. Sessions will address topics such as data security and privacy, marketing and communications, fundraising and grant writing, philanthropy, equity considerations, digital technology for good, and the use of AI to support organizational decision-making.
This conference is designed for nonprofit leaders and staff who want a clearer, more realistic understanding of how AI fits into nonprofit work today and how to approach it thoughtfully moving forward.
