STEP 1

Log into your account.

1. Click on MY PROFILE.

2. Click on the blue circle with a number in it next to GROUPS.

Note: Available groups will depend on the privacy settings of the group, which were set when the group was created.

STEP 2 

Type the name of the group or a keyword in the SEARCH BAR and click on the title of the group you want to join. You can also scroll through the available groups that pop up when you come to this page.

STEP 3

After clicking on the group name, you will be taken to the group's page. There, you can click on the REQUEST MEMBERSHIP link (in the case of public groups, the link might say JOIN GROUP).

STEP 4

A notice will be sent to the Group Administrator(s). Once your request has been approved, you will be able to access the group. To see who the group administrators are, you can see the list on the right side of the group search page. This way, you know who to expect a confirmation from or who to reach out to in case you do not receive a confirmation within several days.

Once you are confirmed by the Group Administrator(s), the group will be added to your Groups tab on your profile page for easy access.
