| How To Request a Scholarship |

OKCNP is happy to offer scholarships, thanks to our generous donors. You can request a scholarship when you are applying for or renewing your OKCNP membership. For requesting a scholarship to a training course, click here. For requesting a scholarship when applying for a new membership, click here. For requesting a scholarship as a current member renewing your membership, click here. Note: Scholarship acceptance emails containing award information, donor information and a link to an adjusted invoice are typically sent at the end of each week after the Scholarship Committee meets. HOW TO REQUEST A SCHOLARSHIP:TRAINING COURSE SCHOLARSHIPS If you would like to request a scholarship to a training course, follow these steps: STEP 1 Log in to your account, find the course you would like to attend and click REGISTER. STEP 2 Fill out the information on the registration page, making sure to click the "Apply for scholarship" box at the bottom of the page. Then click NEXT and complete the course registration.
HOW TO REQUEST A SCHOLARSHIP: NEW MEMBERS If you are applying to become an OKCNP member and wish to request a scholarship, follow these steps: STEP 1 On the membership application: 1. Click on the dropdown for PAY NOTHING NOW, I AM REQUESTING A SCHOLARSHIP and select YES. 2. Click SUBMIT.
STEP 2 At the bottom of the MEMBERSHIP DUES page, click on BILL ME. Then, click SUBMIT SECURELY. You will receive an email on Friday after our Scholarship Committee meets. The email will contain the scholarship awarded information, donor information, link to the adjusted invoice to pay and the requirements to keep the scholarship. HOW TO REQUEST A SCHOLARSHIP: RENEWING MEMBERS STEP 1 Go to OKCNP.ORG and click SIGN IN at the top of the page. Type in the organization's PRIMARY ACCOUNT USERNAME and PASSWORD into the boxes and click SIGN IN.
STEP 2 Once successfully logged in, you will see this page. Click CONTINUE WITH CURRENT MEMBERSHIP. If this option doesn't pop up, just continue with Step 3.
STEP 3 At the top of the Primary Account profile page, you should see this banner.
STEP 4 Before you click on the RENEW NOW banner link, scroll down to the bottom of your profile and click SAVE CHANGES. Make sure to click on the dropdown for PAY NOTHING NOW, I AM REQUESTING A SCHOLARSHIP and select YES. Then, go back up and click on RENEW NOW.
STEP 5 You will be redirected to the payment page, where you will select BILL ME. If you are unable to proceed to the payment page, be sure the profile information is completed to 90-100%. The system will tell you at the top of the profile in red what needs to be completed to move on.
STEP 6: ONLY IF YOU DON'T SEE A HIGHLIGHTED BANNER ON THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT If you log into the primary account to renew and do not see a highlighted banner, but still wish to renew, scroll down to the bottom of your profile and click SAVE CHANGES. The system creates the highlighted renew banner 2 months prior to the expiration date. If you log in before the 2 month mark, you will most likely not see the highlighted banner on the account. You will be redirected to the payment page, where you will select BILL ME. You can also click on the WELCOME dropdown and select RENEW MEMBERSHIP NOW.
