A lifelong Oklahoman, Kate has seen firsthand the meaningful impacts nonprofits have on our state's residents. With a strategic communications background serving diverse sectors from nonprofits, to health care, to energy and more, she offers support for the Center and its various stakeholders through policy and advocacy work, public relations, media relations, crisis response and other communications needs. She also brings experience from the broader integrated communications realm, including marketing and communications planning, creative project coordination, research and more.
Kate graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in journalism before earning a master's degree from Oklahoma City University. She was named among The Journal Record's Achievers Under 40 and Oklahoma's NextGen Under 30 awardees. She has been involved in various board and volunteer capacities with a number of nonprofits, including but not limited to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the Redbud Classic, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Allied Arts and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
