Order Online - Not Your Average Joe - Coffee Shop in OK

Join us for an engaging session with Tim Herbel, Founder and Executive Director of Not Your Average Joe, Oklahoma City’s 2022 Employer of the Year from the Mayor's Committee on Disability Concerns. Tim will share practical insights from his experience leading a rapidly growing nonprofit coffee company that employs more than 150 individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. This conversation will highlight the why and the how of building inclusive workplaces, showing how hiring people of all abilities not only transforms lives but strengthens organizations and communities.

Time: Check-in opens at 11:30 a.m. Event runs from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.

Meet Your Speaker

Tim Herbel is the Founder and Executive Director of Not Your Average Joe, an award-winning nonprofit coffee company in Oklahoma. A two-time graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with degrees in ministry, Tim has served as a pastor, worship leader, professor, and financial consultant. He has also spent time abroad serving in Greece, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, and Uganda. In addition to his nonprofit leadership, Tim is an NCAA sports announcer in the Oklahoma City area, regularly calling games for Oklahoma Christian University and OU Softball. He has been honored with a Human Rights Award for his dedication to social justice and inclusion.‭
