Day 1: - Session 1: Mission, Strategy, & Evaluation (9:00 am - Noon)
Recommended participants: Executive Director & Board Chair (or other Board member)
- Session 2: Leadership, Board, Staff, & Volunteers (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)
Recommended participants: Executive Director & Board Chair or HR Director
Day 2: - Session 3: Finance & Operations (9:00 am - Noon)
Recommended participants: Executive Director & CFO/COO, Board Treasurer or HR/Operations
- Session 4: Public Awareness, Engagement, & Advocacy (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)
Recommended participants: Executive Director & Development/External Relations Director, Public Policy Director, or Board Chair
***Completion of this course qualifies participants for 12 SHRM PDCs (Professional Development Credits) ***While all organizations are encouraged to send two participants to the entire, four-part series, Standards for Excellence scholarship recipients must send two representatives to each session in order to graduate. Scholarship recipients must complete the entire four-part series, or must pay back awarded funds.
